Hello, we're Sara and Félix
Shaping Little Minds started in 2022 with weekly sessions Sara ran herself, across London. Félix joined soon after, bringing a background in education and psychology. Together they built something bigger than a single session: a way for Spanish to live inside a family's whole week, not just for forty-five minutes on a Wednesday.
Sara
Founder & Early Years lead
Sara is a qualified Early Years teacher from Spain with over ten years' experience working with babies, toddlers and young children — in nurseries, schools, private homes and community settings across London and Spain. Her approach is rooted in empathy, respect and play: Spanish woven in gently, never tested, never forced.
Félix
Education & psychology
Félix brings a background in education and child psychology to The Spanish Way™ — making sure every part of the system is built around how children actually develop, not just around Spanish content.
We're a small, caring team who design every session with intention — so Spanish becomes part of childhood, not a pressure on it.
Why we changed everything
For three years, we ran weekly 45-minute Spanish classes across London — and they worked. We saw real results, real progress, real joy in the kids.
But over that time, something became clear: 45 minutes a week is a wonderful start — it builds the structure of the language in a child's brain — but on its own it isn't enough to make Spanish a real, active part of your child's everyday life. And it's not fair to leave that weight entirely on one parent, one grandparent, or one nanny who happens to speak Spanish at home.
So we spent this time studying how language really sticks for young children — and building a way to bring it into your home, your routines, your everyday. Not just one class a week.
That's why what we offer now isn't a class. It's a full system designed to do what 45 minutes alone never could.
